Wisconsin Law Enforcement Makes Over 100 Traffic Stops in One-Day Operation, Multiple Arrests Made

WASHINGTON COUNTY, WISCONSIN — A large-scale law enforcement operation in southern Wisconsin led to more than 100 traffic stops, multiple drug arrests, and several wanted individuals taken into custody during a single evening, according to officials.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, working alongside the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Unit and Germantown Police Department, conducted the joint operation on Wednesday evening, targeting “key traffic areas” known for criminal activity.

“This operation sends a clear message to those who traffic drugs or engage in criminal behavior in our communities — Washington County is not a place to conduct your business,” said Sheriff Martin Schulteis.
