(UPDATE 10/29/2025 9:09 PM) OAK CREEK, Wis. — The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office says freeway entrances are once again reopening for I-41/94 Southbound. Emergency crews are still tending to a rollover crash involving two semis – one of them a tanker. Additional details have also been revealed on what caused the crash.
The County Sheriff’s office says semi driven by a 35-year-old man struck the tanker, causing it to roll over, and fled the scene. The tanker driver was conveyed to an area hospital with arm pain. The driver of the striking semi was located at a gas station and taken into custody for hit-and-run about an hour later. The tanker was carrying a non-flammable hazardous liquid, a glass resin. And the tankers owner has sent a relief tanker to siphon the liquid from the overturned, vehicle and transport it.
