MILWAUKEE— United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County is receiving a major boost in its work to prevent family homelessness. A $5 million grant from the Bezos Day One Families Fund.
The award is part of a national $102.5 million investment in 32 organizations working to keep families safely housed. United Way was selected after the Day One Fund took notice of the progress being made through the organization’s Safe & Stable Homes initiative.
