MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman is facing charges in connection to a hit-and-run that left a man in a coma.
Jenni Fischer is facing the following charges:
- Hit-and-run – great bodily harm
- Prepare or make fraudulent insurance claims
The crash happened Monday, Dec. 1, near Juneau and Van Buren. Officials say around 8:40 p.m., a silver SUV traveling southbound struck a person who had just exited their vehicle. The SUV fled the scene.
Based on surveillance footage and vehicle debris left at the scene, police believed the SUV was a 2017-2024 Jeep Compass Latitude with significant damage to the front passenger side…
