Milwaukee County leaders work to fight food insecurity

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee County leaders discussed food insecurity and their plans to ensure everyone can get healthy food, regardless of personal circumstances, on Tuesday.

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley said the recent federal government shutdown — and the fallout it caused over food benefits — inspired him to act.
