MILWAUKEE — The store shelves at Swoon in Milwaukee’s Washington Heights neighborhood feel like one big ode to the Brew City.
Everything from candles with the Milwaukee skyline on them to dish towels of the “Wisconsin food pyramid” can be found, almost all of it made locally. It might feel like a store with so many Wisconsin-sourced items would be nearly tariff proof.
However, shop owner Kira Wendel will tell you it isn’t quite that simple…
