At the age of 12 years old Geyser stabbed a classmate 19 times to please the fictional character of ‘slender man’. She was sentenced to a maximum of 40 years in a psychiatric facility at the age of 15. On September 13th of 2021 Geyser was released from the Winnebago Mental Health Institute after applying to be released in March of 2021 and was placed into a group home.
Payton Leutner was stabbed 19 times by her friends Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weiner who both claimed that they were told to murder Leutner by the mythical horror figure of ‘slender man.’ Leutner survived the attack and has gone on to pursue a career in the medical field.
