MILWAUKEE A Milwaukee County judge sentenced Charles Leggett on Wednesday, Dec. 17 to life in prison without the possibility for extended supervision in connection with the killing a convenience store cashier during an argument over pizza in October 2024.

Prosecutors charged Leggett with first-degree reckless homicide and possession of a firearm by a felon. Court records show a jury convicted him on both felonies in October after a three-day trial.
