Construction of a new sporting goods store could start at Mayfair Mall after a real estate agreement was solidified between the city of Wauwatosa and the property owner.
The city of Wauwatosa’s Community Development Authority on Friday announced it closed on a land transfer agreement with Brookfield Properties for a parcel at Mayfair Mall, located at 2500 N. Mayfair Rd. in Wauwatosa. Brookfield Properties will transfer the property to Scheels to start a new anchor location.
