The new rules bring hefty fees and zero warnings for repeat offenders.

A two-month grace period on towing habitual parking violators is set to expire on January 1, 2026, meaning drivers with multiple unpaid tickets could have their cars towed the next time they park illegally.

Under the new rules in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, towed drivers face a $150 towing or storage fee, plus $25 per day in storage costs. They must also either pay off their tickets or set up a court date before their car is released…
