14-year-old robbed of shoes at gunpoint in Cudahy; police arrest two suspects

A 15-year-old South Milwaukee boy was arrested Jan. 7 and is facing an armed robbery charge after allegedly stealing a pair of shoes at gunpoint from a 14-year-old in Cudahy.

Cudahy Police Chief Anthony Andrews said officers were dispatched to the 5700 block of South Kirkwood Avenue around 2 p.m. Jan. 6 for an armed robbery complaint.

A 14-year-old from Milwaukee told police he was, “robbed at gunpoint while meeting with an acquaintance in an effort to sell a pair of shoes valued at $200,” Andrews said in a letter posted to the department’s Facebook page on Jan. 8…
