Gordo’s Bubble Waffles is an amazing , delicious dessert restaurant. Gordo´s offers a number of different foods ranging from its mini pancakes to its well known bubble waffle and bubble waffle cones. They offer a variety of different flavors ranging from cookie monster, different cheesecake flavors, to Dubai chocolate themed dishes.
Gordo’s has two locations in Downtown Milwaukee one being located on the heart of Marquette campus on the corner of 17th and Wells opening in April of 2024 and the other located in a gorgeous Bay View neighborhood on East Lincoln Ave and South Howell Avenue. The 17th St location is hands down one of the busiest locations and my favorite with being their 5 times with it best known for a great late night sweet tooth snack.
This place is hands down one of the greatest dessert shops in Milwaukee. The Ice Cream is always fresh, creamy and rich, and the flavor is very indulgent .
Some people say the prices are overpriced but the quality and taste for a special treat make the $10-13 dessert taste amazing and makes me keep going back instead of spending $4 on a boring Baskin Robbins scoop of ice cream.
One of the items I frequently get is the Fruity Pebble Bubble Waffle. This Bubble Waffle always looks pristine with the taste of the unique waffle look this style provides a more sweet taste instead of normal fluffy waffles. The waffle is topped with 1-2 scoops of blue moon ice cream and nice rich filling whipped cream on the outer edges. With that, crunchy fruity pebbles are added on top and dressed with sweet tooth icing on top to make this dish extra rich. You can’t forget about the immaculate smell of the sweet savory waffle and ice cream mixture. This dish is all you can imagine with the texture of the extra soft waffle to the creamy ice cream to the crunchiness from the fruity people. This dish is just perfect and makes me keep going back.
Another great item on the menu is the delicious Brownie Bites Strips. This item is crave- worthy with rich chocolaty taste and looks all over the place which you could imagine. That smell of the fresh chocolate sauces is outstanding with the sweet rich hot butteryness of the waffle. This is a perfect treat. The texture of this dish is similar to the normal bubble waffle. This dish offers a hot buttery waffle but in strips which you can get in 1 or 3. The best part of this dish is the topped soft brownie bites to make this perfect topping of all and creamy whipped cream on the sides to make this plate look even better…
