MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman told CBS 58 on Tuesday, Jan. 13 that MPD’s guidelines for interacting with Immigration and Customs Enforcement remain the same if there is a large ICE deployment in Milwaukee.
Norman spoke in Madison, where he is part of the state’s Homeland Security Council. The council did not discuss the possibility of an ICE deployment in open session.
Norman did not answer whether he is aware of plans for more ICE agents in Wisconsin but said MPD’s approach has not changed…
