St. Paul Fish Co. allowed managers to take workers’ tips, lawsuit says

The owners of a Milwaukee seafood restaurant illegally allowed its managers to take tips set aside for other restaurant workers, according to a federal lawsuit.

St. Paul Seafood LLC, doing business as St. Paul Fish Company, and its owners, Timothy and Mary Beth Collins, are named in the civil complaint filed by the U.S. Department of Labor.

St. Paul Seafood’s attorneys didn’t immediately respond to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s request for comment. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court on Jan. 13…
