BROOKFIELD, Wis. (WFRV) – On Saturday night, officers responding to a crash in southeastern Wisconsin were met with unexpected gunfire by the suspect, who had previously fled the scene.
According to a release from the City of Brookfield Police Department, officers were called to a crash on Barker Road, north of North Avenue, around 10:30 p.m. on January 31.
When authorities got to the scene, they were reportedly told that a person involved in the crash had fled the scene on foot.
