Leveling the Playing Field in Real Estate Development
In September of 2025, a three-year $650,000 initiative to support emerging and underrepresented developers was launched. According to a press release, the launchpad and accelerator funds provide critical pre-development capital, mentorship, and technical assistance for Black and Latino developers.
The grant program is managed by the 30th Street Industrial Corridor Corp (The Corridor) in partnership with the Northwest Side Community Development Corporation (NWSCDC) and the Community Development Alliance (CDA).
