According to FOX6 Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Police Department said the gunfire broke out shortly before 6 a.m., when a suspect opened fire on the victim’s vehicle near 83rd Street and Carmen Avenue. The 22-year-old was struck, then made it to the area of 76th and Carmen to get help before being taken to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. Police described the incident as stemming from a domestic dispute.
