Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, the tequila-forward restaurant on the RiverWalk in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, is temporarily closed after a Milwaukee Health Department inspection, with a notice now taped to the front door. The sign states that an inspection was completed on March 2 and that the restaurant is waiting on a re-inspection before it can resume regulated food sales, so for the moment the popular riverfront hangout is on pause while the city’s process plays out.
