Milwaukee Biker Left to Die After Hit-and-Run as Man Arrested 9 Months Later

Nearly nine months after a late-night crash killed a Milwaukee motorcyclist at a North Side intersection, prosecutors say the driver who took off is finally facing charges.

Jarvis L. Walker, 23, made his initial court appearance on Monday, March 9, 2026, after being charged in connection with a June crash that killed a motorcyclist. Authorities say the collision happened at North 76th Street and West Florist Avenue on June 7, 2025, and that the driver left the scene. Police say Walker was arrested earlier this month after officers tracked him down and linked him to the fatal collision.

Crash footage and complaint details

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a criminal complaint says security video shows the motorcyclist had a green light and was traveling northbound on 76th when Walker, traveling southbound, attempted a left turn onto Florist and struck him. The rider was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The complaint also says a witness’ cellphone video shows Walker briefly returning to the scene, yelling something, then walking away before getting into another vehicle. It further states that a rental-car customer told police Walker had the vehicle and called to say he had just been in a crash.
