Last August, we told you that Steny’s was headed north, bringing the brand’s legendary game-day energy, wings, fish fry and delicious Bloody Marys to the former home of Libby Montana at 5616 W. Donges Bay Rd., a restaurant which closed in 2024 after 24 years in business.
Now it’s officially time to stop in and see the transformation for yourself.
Following a friends-and-family soft opening and an inaugural weekend of service, Steny’s North Shore is now open to the public. And if you remember the old Libby Montana space, the changes will be immediately noticeable.
The interior has been opened up significantly, with the former bar removed and the kitchen expanded into that footprint. The refreshed space features a light cream-and-gray color palette accented by slatted wood and metal details, giving the restaurant a brighter, more contemporary feel.
