This Tudor was home to Schlitz’s brewmaster, now it could be yours

Some lucky Schlitz fan could cozy up with a cold one in front of the fireplace or in the lower level bar of a home that was occupied by Schlitz brewmaster Frank Hanke for 30 years.

Despite the fact that it hasn’t been brewed here in decades and that, in fact, it doesn’t even really exist as a company anymore, folks still love Schlitz, the beer that made Milwaukee famous.

Now, some lucky Schlitz fan could cozy up with a cold one in front of the fireplace or in thelower level bar of a home that was occupied by Schlitz brewmaster Frank Hanke for 30 years.

Hanke appears to have been the first resident of the house at 3237 N 51st Blvd. in the Sunset Heights neighborhood near St. Joseph’s Hospital, and he stayed until his death…
