Green Tree Block Horror, Neighbor Charged In Triple Milwaukee Killing

A North Side Milwaukee block near Darien and Green Tree has been shaken to its core after a March 9 shooting left two adults and an unborn child dead outside an apartment complex. Loved ones have identified the victims as Giovanni McVicker and Maya Tolbert, and neighbors say what started as a routine request about loud music exploded into deadly violence. Prosecutors have charged 27-year-old Tyrese Allen with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of first-degree intentional homicide of an unborn child. He made his first appearance in Milwaukee County court on March 15, where a court commissioner set his cash bond at $500,000, according to FOX6 News. Court filings cited in that reporting say Allen admitted his involvement, and that surveillance footage allegedly shows him firing a weapon before he later surrendered to police.
