West Bend man facing 18 felonies after investigators say he had guns, drug operations inside home on Girl Scout camp property

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) — Camp Silver Brook in West Bend has nearly 300 acres, a lake and hiking trails for the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast (GSWISE) to enjoy.

But investigators say on Sunday, March 15, they responded to a domestic call at a home on the camp where they found 48-year-old convicted felon Paul Henry David, who lived there with his wife, an employee at the camp and two children aged eight and 16.

According to court records, deputies got permission from David’s wife to look around, and that’s when they located two marijuana-growing sites, marijuana seeds, nine marijuana plants, Psilocybin mushrooms, and 13 guns — some of which were loaded and within reach of the kids at the home…
