Wisconsin sees significant spike in natural gas rates

MILWAUKEE — A review from Green Homeowners United suggests that Wisconsin home natural gas rates spiked in March, including a 41% increase for Madison Gas and Electric customers.

In the same review, Milwaukee residents with WE Energies experienced a 58% uptick, while Xcel Energy customers in La Crosse paid 30% more compared to March 2025.

The results are as follows:
