Man charged in fatal shooting of public safety officer makes first court appearance

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — The man accused of killing a Milwaukee County Courthouse public safety officer made his first court appearance Thursday, May 14.

Cash bond was set at $250,000 for 29-year-old Prinston Underwood. Police say Underwood shot 56-year-old Dennis Johnson last Friday, May 8.

Johnson was driving 53-year-old Darrin Sutton to pick up his children when a shootout began. Underwood is accused of then following Johnson and firing into his vehicle…
