There’s been lots of public discourse around the state of things in Uptown Minneapolis on op-ed pages, on social media and now on the Minnesota Star Tribune’s business page. The quintuple-bylined piece opens with a recent weekend scene where people lined up for hotdogs at Moona Moono. “At least on the surface, the area showed no signs of imminent death. And yet the demise of Uptown has become a near-constant topic of conversation in Minneapolis.”
