MENDOTA, Minn. — A vehicle crashed into a restaurant in Mendota Heights on Friday while people were eating meals inside.
It happened around 1:15 p.m. at the Copperfield Restaurant on Maple Street. Police say “quick thinking” patrons and staff shouted a warning and moved quickly to keep people from getting hurt.
The restaurant manager told KARE 11 one person did go to the hospital for injuries described as minor. The manager added that they are still open for business…
