The Broadway tour of “The Great Gatsby” canceled its matinee performance at Minneapolis’ Orpheum Theatre mid-show Sunday after technical issues.
Audience members took to social media to say they were sent home after the performance started and stopped twice, with the first interruption happening about 30 minutes into the show.
After a delay, the show briefly resumed before abruptly stopping again. Around 30 minutes later, the performance was canceled as sound system issues persisted.
Sunday marked the touring production’s last day at the Orpheum, leaving ticket holders without a chance to see the show again…
