A string of coyote attacks has residents and authorities on high alert in one Twin Cities suburb.
The Bloomington Police Department says it has recently received reports of two separate coyote attacks involving dogs in different areas of the city. Both of the dogs survived the attacks and are now recovering.
“Coyotes are a natural part of our environment and can be found throughout the city,” the department writes on social media. “While sightings are not uncommon, it’s important to take precautions to keep your pets safe.”
Those safety tips include keeping your dog on a leash when walking them, and keeping cats indoors when possible…
