Coffee chain 7 Brew expands into Apple Valley, bringing traffic with it

Drive-thru-focused coffee chain 7 Brew continued a Twin Cities expansion plan that would make the pods from “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” blush.

The Arkansas-born company said last year that it planned to open more than 60 locations around the Twin Cities by 2030, after opening its first Minnesota location in early 2025. Last week, its fifth outpost in the state opened in Apple Valley at 15440 English Ave.

The company, which was founded in 2017, has quickly built a name on its assortment of customizable drink combinations centered around coffee. Though it also serves energy drinks, smoothies, teas, and sodas.

While it was founded in Arkansas, it was sold to “an entrepreneurial group” in 2020, and the parent company, Brew Culture LLC, sold a minority stake to Blackstone Inc. in 2024…
