‘We heard you’: West metro pizzeria apologizes for subpar cheese

A popular Twin Cities pizzeria apologized to customers last week after its cheese sparked complaints.

“To our customers: We heard you,” Joey Nova’s Pizzeria in Tonka Bay wrote on Facebook on June 25, sharing a statement responding to recent feedback from customers.

“Last week, we received a cheese delivery that did not meet our standards,” the statement reads. “As a result, some pizzas may not have been up to the quality you expect from Joey Nova’s, and for that, we sincerely apologize.”

The pizzeria said it identified the issue, took action and “made a change to ensure we’re using the high-quality cheese that makes our pizzas special.”…
