EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WKBT)— A fatal crash on I-94 east has left one person dead and prompted an arrest for suspected OWI.
The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the single-vehicle crash near Eau Claire at 10:31 p.m. Monday. According to investigators, a pickup truck drifted off the road while headed east. The vehicle then vaulted and came to rest in the median.
Officers say they noticed signs that the driver may have been impaired. That led to the arrest of Cyrus Muehlberg, 28, of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. He was taken into custody for OWI 1st offense…
