One of Northeast Minneapolis’ most recognizable landmarks is up for sale.
The 65-foot-tall Ferris wheel that adorned the home of the now-closed Betty Danger’s has been placed on the market for $275,000.
The custom-commissioned dining wheel — named so because there are tables and cup holders in each of its 16 gondolas — was conceived by the former owner of Betty Danger’s, Leslie Bock, in collaboration with an Italian amusement ride manufacturer.
“We wanted to contribute to the experiences Minneapolis has to offer. It became a signature attraction,” Bock says. “We worked hand-in-hand with the manufacturer to create a specialized attraction; a memorable dining and cocktail experience.”…
