What started as a routine Sunday in the northwest suburbs turned serious near the 500 block of Pearson Parkway, where Brooklyn Park officers rushed in to help after a shooting in neighboring Brooklyn Center.
According to police, officers responded to assist emergency medical crews after a shooting victim was found near the Brooklyn Center stretch of Pearson Parkway. Brooklyn Park officers provided medical aid at the scene and helped collect evidence while Brooklyn Center police took the investigative lead.
