Last week a 60-year-old male on an electric scooter collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Annapolis and Charlton in West St. Paul.
- The incident happened on the afternoon of Thursday, July 9.
- A 61-year-old male from Cottage Grove was traveling northbound on Charlton in a 2021 Lincoln Corsair when a man from St. Paul carrying food on a scooter traveling eastbound on Annapolis struck the Lincoln.
- According to police, the man on the scooter did not stop at the four-way stop intersection.
- The man on the scooter was transported to Regions Hospital with what the police described as “substantial” but non-life-threatening injuries.
- There were no witnesses to the collission and police said they do not have enough evidence to warrant a traffic citation for either driver.
