Man on Scooter Collides With Vehicle

Thanks to Inver Grove Ford and Lehner Law Office for their support.

Last week a 60-year-old male on an electric scooter collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Annapolis and Charlton in West St. Paul.

  • The incident happened on the afternoon of Thursday, July 9.
  • A 61-year-old male from Cottage Grove was traveling northbound on Charlton in a 2021 Lincoln Corsair when a man from St. Paul carrying food on a scooter traveling eastbound on Annapolis struck the Lincoln.
  • According to police, the man on the scooter did not stop at the four-way stop intersection.
  • The man on the scooter was transported to Regions Hospital with what the police described as “substantial” but non-life-threatening injuries.
  • There were no witnesses to the collission and police said they do not have enough evidence to warrant a traffic citation for either driver.
