There’s a new meteorologist on the staff at KARE 11.
Tucker Antico announced this week that he’ll make his debut at the Twin Cities NBC affiliate in late August, making his move to the Minneapolis-St. Paul market after spending the past three years at a TV station in Boston.
“I’ve always told people about how much I loved my years in the Upper Midwest,” Antico posted on social media. “Well, I can’t wait to announce that I’m headed back! I’ll be joining KARE 11 in Minneapolis as the weekday morning meteorologist.”
Antico added that he’s excited to work in “severe weather country and in the nation’s hockey capital.” It’s the State of Hockey, of course, but he’s not wrong when referring to Minnesota as the hockey capital of the United States…
