A man serving two decades in prison for a 2020 murder in Brooklyn Park has been charged with killing his cellmate while imprisoned in Rush City.
William Davon Hall, 29, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of his cellmate, Stephen Scott Washington, last year.
Charges allege correctional officers were called to a cell at Minnesota State Correctional Facility – Rush City on the afternoon of October 9, 2025 and discovered Washington was unconscious on the floor.
They observed he had significant injuries to his face, and was not breathing.
