Authorities in Minneapolis have identified one of the victims found dead near a city park over the weekend.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identifies Karen Lynn Sognesand, 56, of Maple Grove, as the woman found dead on Saturday evening after someone reported a body in a wooded area at East River Flats Park, near East River Parkway and Oak Street.
Investigators responded to the scene, and confirmed Sognesand was already deceased. A suspected cause of death has not been announced as of Wednesday…
