Brooklyn Center police raiding 2 hotels in human trafficking operation

Police are conducting a raid at two hotels in Brooklyn Center for suspected human trafficking, narcotics distribution, firearms offenses and other criminal activity.

People are being asked to avoid the Travelodge and Super 8 hotels on James Circle as the operation continues on Wednesday morning.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS crews on scene saw about a dozen law enforcement officers entering the Super 8 with guns drawn. They are also seeing people outside the two hotels with bags in hand.

The Travelodge brand and the Super 8 is owned and operated by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. We have reached out to them for comment on the situation but they have not responded…
