Promising Gophers freshman WR Hayden Moore exits game early after scary leg injury

Promising Gophers freshman wide receiver Hayden Moore left Saturday’s game against Mississippi State early, after suffering a scary-looking leg injury on the first reception of his college career.

Moore opted to enroll at the University of Minnesota early this spring, and he immediately stood out. The three-star wide receiver from Florida was a preseason darling. He was arguably the fourth receiver on the Gophers’ depth chart in his first collegiate season, but it now looks like he could be out for the foreseeable future…
