A candidate for North St. Paul mayor has an active warrant for his arrest after he violated a domestic abuse order for protection, according to documents filed in Ramsey County District Court.
Prosecutors filed two misdemeanor charges against Christopher Dean Tenquist, 34, last month after he contacted the mother of his child beyond the scope allowed in the order for protection.
Tenquist is in the midst of a custody dispute with his child’s mother, and he was criminally charged last year after he allegedly sent threatening emails to the referee assigned to the custody case, including one message that referenced the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses last summer…
