State health officials are attempting to trace anyone who had contact with a rabid bat found on a sidewalk in downtown Minneapolis, including a woman who was seen picking it up and putting it in a bag.
The Minnesota Department of Health confirmed to Bring Me The News that the bat found earlier this week tested positive for rabies, and it’s working with other agencies to trace anyone who may have had contact with it.
