MINNEAPOLIS — Legacy Cup returns to Surly Festival Field on Saturday for its seventh year, marking one year since it became Minnesota’s first licensed cannabis event.
Organizers say the festival has grown significantly since starting in 2019 as a grassroots hemp and CBD gathering. In September 2025, the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management issued Legacy Cup the state’s first cannabis event organizer license, allowing legal onsite sales and consumption for the first time.
