A police pursuit involving multiple law enforcement agencies ended after a driver reportedly fled from a traffic stop and drove his truck into the Army Training Site in Arden Hills before entering a ditch, according to the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident began at around 3 a.m. when a Fridley police officer attempted to stop Douglas Burke, of Andover, Minnesota. Burke fled from the officer, leading to a pursuit.
The Sheriff’s Office states pursuit lasted approximately 13 minutes and covered 18 miles as multiple agencies became involved as officers pursued Burke, including Fridley, Roseville, St. Anthony, New Brighton, Mounds View police, the Minnesota State Patrol and other agencies.
