Federal authorities charged 18-year-old Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud of the Twin Cities area with allegedly plotting a mass-casualty attack at the Mall of America and other locations in Minnesota.
The Department of Justice and FBI announced the charge after Mohamud was arrested October 6 in Richfield, Minnesota.
