State and local leaders gathered in Brooklyn Park on Nov. 5 to honor the memory and lasting legacy of the late former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark. More than a year after their tragic deaths in June 2025, Highway 610 has officially been renamed the Hortman Memorial Highway.
Former colleagues have described Hortman as “the most consequential speaker in the history of the state of Minnesota.”…
