Three people are charged in connection with last week’s fights at St. Louis Park High School that led to the cancellation of classes last Friday.
Charged with third-degree riot and fourth-degree assault are 41-year-old Latoys Milon and her two adult children, 22-year-old Abreeha Smith and 19-year-old Jerome Smith.
Prosecutors say the three were targeting Somali students because Milon’s youngest daughter claimed she was jumped by a group of Somali girls.
Police used surveillance video and eyewitness accounts of the incident to piece together what happened.
Authorities say there may be more charges coming in connection with the fights. At last check, none of the three are in custody.
