TWO million-dollar prizes in Minnesota have left lotto officials scratching their heads.
Nearly a month after the lucky drawing, lottery winners have yet to come forward.
The winners of the state’s annual Minnesota Millionaire Raffle could be sitting on millions.
The Minnesota Lottery doesn’t publish winning raffle numbers, but has an online tool for players to check their tickets.
The winners got their respective tickets at Coborn’s in Delano and at Kwik Trip in Dundas, both outside Minneapolis, according to local outlet KRWC.
Adam Prock, the director of the Minnesota Lottery, told the local news agency he was not concerned.
Prizes must be claimed by December 31, 2024 — leaving the winners plenty of time.
If nobody claims the winnings by the expiration date, the money goes back to the state.
RAFFLE RULES
The state’s annual Minnesota Millionaire Raffle is a special New Year’s game with unique rules.
Unlike Powerball or Mega Millions, where players try to get as close as they can to randomly-drawn lucky numbers, the Raffle has thousands of distinct winning numbers
