Charges: Man posed as UPS delivery before fatally shooting 3 in front of kids

A man dressed up as a UPS driver fatally shot three people at their Coon Rapids home last week in front of two young children, charges filed on Monday say.

Alonzo Pierre Mingo, 37, of Fridley, is accused of murdering a married couple and the wife’s adult son on Friday.

Earlier Monday , the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as 42-year-old Shannon Jungwirth, 39-year-old Mario Trejo Estrada, and 20-year-old Jorge Reyes-Jungwirth.

Mingo went inside the home with two others before he held the victims at gunpoint, demanding money.

The Star Tribune reports a search warrant affidavit filed Monday shows the killings may have been tied to drug trafficking from Mexico that Estrada was allegedly involved with. The documents reveal that hours after the killings, authorities found several different quantities of different drugs in a Golden Valley storage unit rented out to Estrada.

Many took to social media in the days following to pay tribute to the victims.

“Shannon…. My heart is Shattered! Not you! One of the most amazing human beings, a great mother, friend… I am so heartbroken. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry. This is unbelievable. Praying hard for your babies and family,” one person wrote on Facebook.
