A Minnetonka High School student was injured and transported the hospital Tuesday following a classroom incident, according to Principal Jeff Erickson.
In an email to families, Erickson said “an interaction between two students” during the sixth period resulted in one of the students being injured, despite staff intervening “immediately.”
The student was transported to the hospital by ambulance for evaluation, according to Erickson.
“This was an isolated situation, and it did not involve any other students,” he stated, adding a thorough investigation will be carried out.
“The safety and security of our students remains, as always, our top priority.”
